We are a co-ed business fraternity, and welcome men and women of all majors who are interested in professional development.

Throughout the year, our members take on leadership positions and spearhead projects that prepare them for the real world. Whether it be through brainstorming ideas for a several thousand dollar fundraiser, organizing a social mixer with local business owners, or networking with successful alumni, AKPsi’s members undoubtedly gain a professional advantage over their peers long before graduation.

Outside of planning events, Alpha Kappa Psi works to increase the overall professional skills of its members through resume development, interview training, regional conferences, and networking through our alumni mentorship program.

Our personal professional development training is second to none and as a member of Alpha Kappa Psi you are recognized as a professional in whatever industry you may enter after college.

The Pi Rho Chapter was founded at Cal Poly on February 7th, 1998 with 7 founding officers and 36 founding members. Since then there have been over 250 graduated alumni of the Pi Rho Chapter, many of whom are advancing swiftly into successful professional careers. Our members are all highly motivated students who hold the common goal of professional development and career success. The brotherhood formed by the Fraternity fosters strong professional and social bonds between AKPsi’s members, who continue to maintain friendships for years after college graduation.
